omg omg to all DIYers this is a must have tool. The accuracy and details it gives about the car are impressive. easy to connect and easier to run a test on your car this help me find errors i couldnt possibly find on my own i was able to fix a corolla, infiniti fx35 even a mercedez ml500 i tried other code readers but some charge subcribtion that im not too fond of to me is like buying a drill and having to pay a montly subcription just to use it like what? anyways if i could give it mopre start i would.”

 How does this product compare to other products you’ve tried? This new revised CarScan tool that comes with access to a few apps is helpful in finding fault codes, along with a parts directory that you can order parts to perform the fix yourself, or to have codes before you drop at a mechanic. It provides some assurances the mechanic is being truthful and not just trying to upsell you on parts you don't need. Older scanners are bigger, bulkier, more expensive as well. This is an affordable solution & I would absolutely buy a few of these to keep in my vehicles along with having a spare in my tool box at home. I would also recommend to friends and family that are mechanically inclined and like to make repairs themselves.
