Do Innova Scanners Work on Porsche Vehicles?

The short answer is, not really. Our scanners can read check engine codes on Porsche vehicles, but the available features are extremely limited.

Our diagnostic scanners aren’t made to diagnose exotic vehicles like Porsche. As such, using an OEM scanner or going to your dealership may be a better choice. Or if you're only interested in retrieving check engine codes, going with our cheapest scanner (Innova 5110) may be a better option.

It’s obvious, but feature availability will depend on the type of scanner you choose. For the purpose of this article, we’ll use our most advanced handheld scanner - the Innova 5610 - as our scanner.

You can use our Comparison Chart to check which model supports what feature. For example, if the Innova 5610 supports EPB reset, you can safely assume the Innova 5510 will also be able to reset it.
