Q: Do I have to use the app?
A: Yes, our device depends on our proprietary app - RepairSolutions2. So you’ll need a smartphone to download the app in order to use the device.

Q: Do you charge for updates?
A: Updates are free. And there are no subscriptions.

Q: Does this work outside of the USA?
A: Although our device/app works on most domestic, foreign, and Asian vehicles, it will NOT work outside of the United States and Canada. For Mexican residents, it’ll work only if you have a US imported vehicle. Our products are region restricted.

Q: Does this work on 2023 or 2024 vehicles?

A: We currently support vehicles 1996 - 2023. We're actively working on 2024 coverage.

Q: Does it support FCA vehicles?
A: For 2017 or older FCA vehicles (Jeep, Chrysler, etc.), the Innova 1000 is able to diagnose them. However, 2018 or newer FCA vehicles require AutoAuth access... which means certain features are restricted. For example, while it may be able to do TPMS relearn or view live data, it cannot erase codes, perform oil resets, or handle battery initialization.
