4/16/23 Update:
We discovered reviewers on Amazon mention Innova's tools are overstating its features or that we are false advertising. In our investigation we found the main reason was due to the assumption that if the tool says it can do bidirectional features then some users assumed it could do 100% of all bidirectional features on 100% of vehicles on the road.
We're now taking more efforts to help people understand this is not the case by providing more clarity and improving our coverage checker. Using the coverage checker above you will get a full list of all bidirectional features and special functions for specific vehicles.
The less common issue was some users had not updated their tools yet and the update resolved their lack of coverage.
4/10/23 Update:
To address user's concerns where some users claim that our EPB functionality is misleading and does not work as advertised, we found in majority of cases this was due to user error especially in push to start vehicles. Please read this user's post on our community reporting this exact issue and how it was resolved.
12/10/22 Update:
To address user concerns of the Innova tools only covering up to 2019 vehicles we released an update allowing tools to update their coverage to 2022 vehicles. Due to how recent the update was released, you may need to update your tool to get coverage even if you purchase a tool after this date. Innova now only ships out updated tools, however it will take time before these tools reach customers as the previous inventory will take time to be fully sold through at various retailers.

It does not have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive OBD scanners but it is a great asset to the seasoned DYI and even the professional automobile enthusiast. Sure there are OBD scanners out there with more functionality but that also comes with a price. For what the Innova 5610 does for it's price, combined with a lifetime of free updates, the Repair Solutions 2 database resource, and unparalled customer support, I am more than pleased with this scanner.
This scanner actually paid for itself within the first week of using it. Go to a car dealer and see what they charge you to just read and diagnose ABS and SRS codes and you will understand your potential savings. I like repairing my own vehicles, my families vehicles and my friends vehicles. This scanner is as valuable to me as my floor jack and jack stands and is a great asset to any mechanics tool box.
