Does the reader support Diesel vehicles?
No. The vehicle being tested must have a gas engine.

How do I know what the DTC is?
The "Check Engine" light on your instrument cluster will flash in a pattern sequence that signifies what the two-digit DTC number is. Please refer to Page 2-3 of the 3123 User Manual for more details.

What if the light does not blink?
If the light does not blink refer to your vehicle's service manual for information regarding circuitry testing.

How do I clear the check engine light off the vehicle?
Please refer to section 2-6 of the manual for ECM Service Code removal, and sections 3-7 through 3-9 for ABS service code removal. Information on particular vehicles can also be found in the vehicle's service manual.

Can this tool read live data?
No, it cannot read live data for any vehicle.
