Headlamp Alignment Guide

A: 8 ft (2.4 m)
B: Distance from the ground to the center of the high beam headlamp bulb.
C: 25 ft (7.6 m) - Distance from the vehicle to the wall or screen.
D: Baseline for horizontal alignment.
Step 1: Position your vehicle on a flat surface, about 25 feet (7.6 meters) from a wall or screen.
Step 2: Measure the height from the ground to the center of the headlamp (high beam) and draw a horizontal line 8 feet (2.4 meters) long on the wall or screen at this height.
Note: The headlamp lens may have markings to help locate the center of the high beam.
Step 3: Open the hood and switch to low beam mode to facilitate easier adjustments.
Step 4: Observe the light pattern on the wall or screen. You should see a high-intensity area at the top edge of the light pattern. If this high-intensity zone does not align with the horizontal reference line, adjust the headlamp aim accordingly.
Note: To better see the light pattern during adjustment, cover one headlamp while adjusting the other.
Step 5: Use an appropriate tool, such as a screwdriver or a socket wrench, to rotate the adjuster either clockwise or counterclockwise to modify the vertical alignment of the headlamp. Ensure that the top edge of the brighter light aligns with the baseline for horizontal alignment.

Step 6: Once adjustments are complete, close the hood and turn off the lights.
