Safety Precautions
Gasoline is extremely flammable and can explode. Not following these guidelines could lead to SEVERE INJURY or DEATH:
- Observe and follow all warnings posted at the gas station.
- Prior to refueling, identify the Emergency Gasoline Shut-Off switch, if present, at the station.
- Before using the fuel nozzle, release any static electricity by touching a metal part of the vehicle with your bare hand, away from the fuel filler neck, nozzle, or fuel source.
- Refrain from using mobile phones while refueling, as electrical currents or interference from phones can ignite fuel vapors and start a fire.
- While refueling, ensure the gear selector is in P (Park) for automatic transmissions or in first gear or R (Reverse) for manual transmissions. Apply the parking brake and turn the ignition switch to the LOCK/OFF position to prevent sparks from engine components igniting fuel vapors.
- Refrain from using matches, lighters, or smoking near the vehicle, especially during refueling.
- Avoid overfilling or "topping off" the tank to prevent fuel spillage.
Refueling Procedure
Step 1: Park the vehicle on a flat surface and turn off the engine.
Note: Ensure the fuel level is between 1/4 and 1/2 of the tank for optimal cleaner performance.
Step 2: Lift the fuel door release lever located on the floor to the left of the driver's seat.

Step 3:
- Extend the fuel filler door (1) to open it completely.
- To remove the fuel tank cap (2), rotate it counterclockwise.

Note: If the fuel filler door is stuck due to ice buildup, gently tap or press on the door to break the ice and open it. Avoid prying the door open. If needed, use an approved de-icer spray (not radiator anti-freeze) around the door or move the vehicle to a warmer location to let the ice melt.
Step 4: Place the cap on the fuel door.
Step 5: Adding fuel.
- Firmly insert the fuel nozzle into the fuel tank opening.
- Stop fueling when the nozzle automatically shuts off.
- Do not overfill the tank.
Step 6: Secure the Fuel Filler Cap.
- Reattach the fuel filler cap by rotating it clockwise until it clicks, ensuring a tight seal.
- Close the fuel filler door securely.
