How to set/use the feature
Turning on the Automatic High Beam System
Step 1: Rotate the headlight switch to AUTO

Step 2: Move the headlight adjustment lever forward.

Note: The Automatic High Beam indicator illuminates when the headlights automatically activate, indicating that the system is engaged.
Automatic High Beam Activation Conditions
The high beams automatically turn on when ALL of the following conditions are met:
- The vehicle is traveling at a speed above approximately 21 mph (34 km/h).
- The road ahead is dark.
- There are no oncoming or preceding vehicles with their headlights or taillights on.
- There are limited streetlights along the road ahead.
The high beams will automatically turn off if any of the following conditions are met:
- The vehicle's speed drops below approximately 17 mph (27 km/h).
- The road ahead is not dark.
- There are oncoming or preceding vehicles with their headlights or taillights on.
- There are numerous streetlights along the road ahead.
Manually activating or deactivating the high beam
Activating to low beam: Return the headlight adjustment lever to its original position.

Activating to High Beam: Rotate the light switch to the high beam position.

Note: The Automatic High Beam indicator turns off, and the high beam indicator illuminates.

Precautions
- Don't touch or disassemble the camera sensor.
- Keep liquids away from the sensor.
- Don’t impact the sensor.
- Avoid window tinting or stickers near the sensor.
- Don't place items on the dashboard.
- Avoid installing accessories near the sensor.
- Don't overload or modify the vehicle.
- Contact your Toyota dealer for windshield replacement.
